Ping An Healthcare and Technology Company Limited (“Ping An Good Doctor”, “Ping An Health”, or “the Company”; Stock Code: 1833.HK), established in 2014, is the flagship of Ping An’s healthcare and elderly care ecosystem. It was listed on the Main Board of HKEX on 4 May 2018 and was included in the Hang Seng TECH Index in July 2020.
Ping An Health has leveraged its core competencies to enhance its managed care strategy. These competencies include rich payer resources for healthcare services such as insurance and financial clients, as well as corporate clients. Ping An Health is also empowered by its extensive supplier network, comprehensive service standard system, and strong Ping An ecosystem. Moreover, the Company is committed to building two main strategic pillars: “family doctor” and “elderlycare concierges”. They focus on professional, comprehensive, high-quality, one-stop healthcare and elderlycare management services.
The “Ping An Family Doctor” service brand comprises of its family doctor service, specialist service, renowned doctor service, and medical consultation service under an “online, in-store and home/company delivered” service network. The Company provides users with quality, convenient end-to-end medical care experiences, such as “fast diagnosis for minor illnesses, precise referral for major illnesses, and standardized management for chronic diseases.” In 2023, the Company’s family doctor service had nearly 13 million members, with the family doctor service being used around 3.7 times per user. Over 98% of users gave five-star reviews for its medical consultation service.
The 3-in-1 elderlycare concierge system offers a full-scenario and high-quality experience, which synergizes with Ping An Life Insurance’s “medicine, food, housing, transportation, finance, health, leisure, and security” scenarios and “home-based elderlycare standards”, providing one-stop and high-quality elderlycare solutions. As of 2023, the service has covered 54 cities throughout the country. Nearly 100,000 customers have gained access to Ping An’s elderlycare concierge services, with a 95% satisfaction rate.
As of 31 December 2023, the number of B-end enterprises cumulatively served reached 1,508. Ping An Health had about 50,000 in-house doctors and contracted external doctors across 29 specialties, including nearly 2,500 contracted renowned doctors and experts. They provided full-scenario, multi-tiered healthcare and elderlycare services to meet users’ needs. The Company also has 23 specialty medical centers in place, covering eight medical specialties. With these specialty medical centers, the Company standardizes medical solutions before, during and after medical consultation. In addition, the Company partnered with nearly 4,000 hospitals and 230 thousand pharmacies, and provided 1-hour drug delivery services in 271 cities. With respect to the health service network, Ping An Health partnered with nearly 103 thousand health service providers and over 2,000 health checkup service providers, covering health checkups, elderlycare, dental care, anti-aging care, and health and wellbeing.
