To deeply explore the construction of new-era family doctor contracting service connotations, enhance family doctor service levels, and promote the realization of high-quality development of family doctor contracting services, the 4th Family Doctor Development Conference and High-End Dialogue on "Internet + Healthcare" was grandly held in Xiamen on March 15, 2025.
The conference brought together over 1,000 authoritative experts and industry representatives, including Professor Chi Chunhua, the Chairperson of General Practice Branch of Chinese Medical Association and the Director of General Practice Department, Peking University Health Science Center, Professor Fang Ningyuan, Chairman of the Family Doctor Branch of the Chinese Aging Well Association and Director of the General Practice Medicine Department, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Peng Derong, General Secretary of Family Doctor Branch of the Chinese Aging Well Association and Director of Pengpu Xincun Community Health Service Center in Jing'an District, Shanghai, to jointly explore the standardization and authoritative certification path of "Internet + Healthcare" and family doctor services. Ping An Health attended the conference as the only enterprise participating in the drafting and release of the group standard "Specification for Family Doctor Remote and Internet Health Services" (hereinafter referred to as the "Family Doctor Group Standard"). In the future, all parties will closely cooperate to form a synergy, continuously promoting the high-quality development of primary healthcare, and the Family Doctor Group Standard is expected to be gradually promoted to 100 cities nationwide for standardized application.
With the deep integration of digital intelligence technology and the standardization system, family doctor services will no longer be a supplement to medical resources, but a core hub for national health management. The convening of this conference marks the official entry of Chinese family doctor services into a new stage of "building a solid foundation with standardization and empowering with digital intelligence." At the conference, Professor Fang Ningyuan of the Chinese Aging Well Association, the releasing party of the Family Doctor Group Standard, emphasized in his opening speech that family doctors, as an important force in primary healthcare services, should fully play a pivotal role in the integration of medical treatment and disease prevention, comprehensively promote the transformation from "disease-centered" to "health-centered," wholeheartedly provide health services to residents, and provide strong guarantees for safeguarding people's health.
A representative at Ping An Health delivered a keynote speech at the conference entitled "Introduction to the ‘11312’ Model Experience of Ping An Family Doctor Remote and Internet Services," systematically elaborating on Ping An Family Doctor’s "11312" one-stop health management system. The system features one family doctor team with registration certification from the Peking University International Hospital and full supervision and training certification from the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA), one 5A standard service path certified and guided by AGPAL, a certification body designated by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and the General Practice Branch of Chinese Medical Association, three proactive health management services for sub-healthy, chronic disease, and ill individuals, and 12 specialized medical resources. It is reported that the number of family doctor member-right users exceeds 14 million, the average annual usage frequency reaches 5 times, and the proactive service coverage rate reaches 100%.
When elaborating on the Ping An Family Doctor "11312" one-stop health management system, Ping An Health’s representative particularly emphasized the deep integration of intelligent wearable devices and Ping An Health's health management services. According to their introduction, the company combines intelligent wearable devices to create the "Premium Guardian" service, combined with smart wearable blood pressure monitors covering "hardware monitoring, online doctor consultation, and offline medical assistance" at any time.
Professor Peng Derong, with his profound professional literacy and rich experience in the Internet + community service industry, provided an in-depth interpretation of the Family Doctor Group Standard. Professor Peng Derong conducted a detailed analysis from the standard's formulation background, core points to specific implementation rules, providing valuable references for the participants to deeply understand this group standard. At the same time, Professor Peng Derong emphasized that the Family Doctor Group Standard, as the first group standard in the national family doctor field, condenses the power and wisdom of more than 30 experts across the country, and also gathers Ping An Health's 10 years of accumulation and practice, and the carefully crafted Family Doctor Group Standard will surely become the foundation for national replication and widespread application.
Subsequently, at the symposium on the application, promotion, and upgrading of the Family Doctor Group Standard, the participating experts conducted full discussions on the application, promotion, and upgrading of the Group Standard.
Professor Fang Ningyuan pointed out that the standardization of family doctor services is the core support for the high-quality development of primary healthcare, and the release of the group standard provides a unified and standardized framework for the industry. He advocated that medical institutions, enterprises, and industry associations form a synergy to promote the widespread practice of the standard at the primary level. President Peng Derong pointed out that the standard sets clear specifications from service processes and quality control to data security, and needs to verify its operability through primary-level pilots, and suggested establishing a dynamic optimization mechanism to gradually promote the standardized application to 100 cities nationwide. Ping An Health’s representative stated that Ping An Health will cooperate and support the national industry associations and societies in the system software implementation and publicity training during the promotion and replication of the Family Doctor Group Standard.
